Deltek Kicks Off Corporate Partnership with HopeLink with a Volunteer Event to Support Nonprofit’s Mental Health and Crisis Work

OAKTON, Va. (November 3, 2023)— Deltek has joined HopeLink Behavioral Health (formerly PRS), a leading mental health nonprofit serving Northern Virginia, the state, and beyond, as a Community Partner, which includes a charitable investment of $15,000.

“We are delighted to have Deltek join as a HopeLink Corporate Partner, ensuring that more people in our region will have access to our effective and life-changing behavioral health programs. Deltek employees celebrated the partnership by participating in a volunteer event. We look forward to working together throughout the next year to support those in need of mental health, crisis or suicide intervention services,” explained Joseph Getch, CEO, HopeLink.

Deltek volunteers created more than 60 care packages for crisis workers that answer calls, texts and chats 24/7 for the organization’s CrisisLink program. Volunteers wrote inspirational cards and included them in a package with snacks, a notebook, colored pencils, self-care items, and more. HopeLink sends these care packages to its crisis workers as part of its annual #CallTextLive campaign for Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. In addition to its financial commitment, Deltek’s Traci Slivinski, senior director, IT PMO, provides leadership support as a member of HopeLink’s Board of Directors.

HopeLink’s Corporate Partner Program provides meaningful opportunities for businesses and their employees to get involved year-round and make a lasting impact on those HopeLink serves. HopeLink offers a variety of investment levels through its Corporate Partner program, providing opportunities for corporate partner employees to engage with the HopeLink mission through team-building, charitable drives, and leadership.

Last year, HopeLink served nearly 2,000 individuals and families through its wellness and recovery programs, helping persons served navigate the mental health system, avoid psychiatric hospitalization, find, get and keep jobs, strengthen independent living skills, and maintain housing. HopeLink’s crisis and suicide intervention program, CrisisLink, handled nearly 200,000 crisis calls, texts, and chats, providing a trained and empathetic voice for community members facing life crises. Corporate Partners provide funding and volunteers to support these efforts and ensure HopeLink can continue to meet the community’s growing behavioral health needs.
