Oakton, VA – December 20, 2022 – Stephan Cassaday, Founder, Chairman & CEO at Cassaday & Company, Inc. in McLean, received Honorable Mention in the 16th Annual Invest in Others Awards for his philanthropic contributions to PRS, Inc. His leadership contributions, distinctive service to the nonprofit, and impact on the community speak to the heart of the Community Service Award, and PRS, Inc. will receive a $1,750 donation from Invest in Others in recognition of Steve’s charitable work.
The Invest in Others Awards recognizes the charitable work of financial advisors in communities across the country and around the world.
Most recently, Cassaday & Company worked with PRS on Imagine Hope Benefit Gala (formerly Springtopia), with Steve serving as an emcee. With COVID-19 social distancing measures lingering and hindering their in-person events, PRS found it challenging to raise donations and awareness. Steve confronted this obstacle by securing sponsorships, auction items, and raffle prizes, and enlisted the firm’s marketing team to create a series of video testimonials of PRS clients and their loved ones. The videos were shown during the live program, helping the event to raise over $235,000 for PRS’ critical work.
The Invest in Others Awards were presented on September 29th in Boston in the following categories: Catalyst, Community Service, Emerging Impact, Lifetime Achievement & Volunteer of the Year.
